O frabjeous etc.
The New York Public Library now supports e-book lending to Kindles. I can't wait to play with this (read: I have no substantial review at the moment, sorry).

I'm excited! My husband has a Kindle. I wouldn't buy one until I could check out library books on it. ~Jen
Admittedly, Amazon is behind every other ereader in enabling this for the Kindle -- and it seems like they have had the capability all along. *shakes fist* But, free borrowing of books!
