Just in time for the holiday weekend, the
New York Times posts its
Notable Books list for the year. Is there anyone anywhere who has read all 100 books? I doubt, say, Sam Tanenhaus would have to finish all of them before writing this list, but with that in mind I wonder how the Gray Lady puts these together. (Secret ballot, I assume.)
I read seven of them, which is one more than last year (five fiction, two nonfiction). How'd you do?
