This Times story about kids at Percy Jackson-themed camp pretending to be half-Olympians makes me deeply nostalgic for my nerdy youth.

Oh, I remember doing that. Noting the ages at which different fictional children discovered they were something special, thinking I still had time. Now that I think of it, I'm not sure when I stopped.
