Still need a nudge to get going on Anthony Powell's A DANCE TO THE MUSIC OF TIME series? I certainly do. My friend Marjorie recently finished the books and lays out her case on Goodreads in a way that will motivate you to give them another shot.

That was a well-made case! My brother read those in high school as part of a year-long extra-credit English class project. At the time, he thought they were well-written but boring. But then, he started them when he was 16 and finished them at 17. It may be different to read them now. I will probably give them a shot someday, but not until I finish the Aubrey-Mautrin series. And I've got a long way to go. There are only so many double-digit serieses of British novels one can read in a lifetime.
