"another bullshit night in suck city" is such a good title, I have begun using it as a descriptive epithet. but it is apparently a sad memoir of parental alcoholism.

"Half asleep" is Tom Robbins being Tom Robbins. You really only need to read one.

I read All We Ever Wanted Was Everything. It was.. suck city, unfortunately! I did not like it.

Lisa, I'm sorry to hear that! I bought it based on the (mostly positive) reviews. What critic can you trust these days?

8, Robbins is very popular with some people I know but I haven't been able to get through one of his books yet. I gave up about 10 pages into EVEN COWGIRLS GET THE BLUES because life is too short for pornographic thumbs.
