All summer I've been trying to get in to see Al Pacino in "The Merchant of Venice" in Shakespeare in the Park, to no avail. (Well, trying for the free tickets anyway -- guaranteed tickets for "supporters" start at $350, for which I could probably fly to Venice and wander around quoting "Heat" until I lost my voice.) So I'm pretty excited Pacino is bringing his Shylock to Broadway this fall.
